The 30-year-old is back doing what she does best with a French barn as a backdrop as she frolicks upon hay bales to show off the luxury lingerie brand’s new styles for SS16.
Leonardo DiCaprio’s ex-girlfriend has plenty of underwear modelling experience; she was previously the face of Passionata lingerie and in 2012 launched her own, now defunct line, Under.Me.
Agent Provocateur’s creative director, Sarah Shotton, described the model as “our perfect woman, a woman oozes unbelievable sensuality, personality and confidence.”
She added how: “She has a film noir, feline quality to her that I felt had a brilliant synergy with what the collection and we are about at Agent Provocateur.”
Refaeli recently spoke about her shape in an interview, describing how: “I’ve never done catwalk because I was never skinny or tall enough. I was more of a sexy type of model and catwalk models aren’t so sexy.” She also told Hello Fashion Monthly about her plans to start a family; in September she married Israeli businessman Adi Ezra. “I think this will be a decade of family…I come from a family of four children.”
Refaeli’s new campaign was styled by popstar Rihanna’s personal stylist, Mel Ottenberg, and evokes hot summer days with a typically AP tongue-in-cheek approach. Shotton was inspired by the films Paris Texas, Stealing Beauty, Virgin Suicides and Last Tango in Paris, and so the team decamped to a suitable location just outside the French capital.
