The reality TV star Kendall Jenner recently made her mark in the Alexander Wang and Diane Von Furstenberg shows, before stunning audiences at Donna Karan New York’s presentation on Monday.

She walked the runway in front of a star-studded audience that included guests such as Susan Sarandon and Chrissy Teigen. Kendall looked daring in a fitted, sleeveless black dress which featured a plunging neckline and a band that showed off her slim waistline.
The dress was embellished with layers of fabric around the waistline, but then tapered back down as it fell below the knees. It was coupled with a pair of chunky slate grey heels, and bold jewelry, such as a large cuff on Kendall’s left ear. Her long dark locks were styled in a dramatic side part for the show, and she wore a deep red lipstick.
The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was seen backstage beforehand, sporting a cozy beige sweater as her hair was held up with silver clips. She was seen playing on her phone while stylists finished her makeup before it was time to take the stage. There wasn’t a large Kardashian/Jenner presence at the show, unlike for Kendall’s brother-in-law Kanye West’s show on Thursday.
But Kendall did recently admit in an interview with Allure that she wants to step away from her family when it comes to her modeling career. ‘I didn’t need it to be a family affair,’ she said, of her first fashion show with Marc Jacobs in fall of 2014. ‘As selfish as this sounds, I wanted the attention to be on me for five seconds rather than my family.’
She also added: ‘I love Kim [Kardashian], but for a minute I wanted it to be like, ‘OK, this is [Kendall’s] thing – she’s taking it seriously.’ Donna Karan’s presentation drew celebrity guests such as Bernadette Peters, Susan Sarandon, Chrissy Teigen, and Coco Rocha.
Susan seemed to be enjoying herself at the show, as she sported a wide grin white seated next to the Sports Illustrated model and the Canadian beauty. Models Chrissy and Coco later posed together sporting chic black dresses and similar slicked back hairstyles.

Coco also took to her Instagram account, playfully posting a collection of four silly shots of the duo, adding: ‘professional models, modeling. @ChrissyTeigen and I backstage at @DonnaKaran. #NYFW’
