Amid living their new life outside the United Kingdom, an unofficial biography is about to emerge this month. Reports said that the book titled, Finding Freedom, details the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s life starting from their first date leading to their exit in March.
Ahead of the book’s release, excerpts from the book emerged recently. Royal fans and supporters have since deemed the book “disrespectful.”
Finding Freedom charts the lives of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle inside the British Monarchy. It also details the alleged “rifts” and feuds that the couple has had with some members of the British Royal Family, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The book will be out on August 11. Nevertheless, excerpts from the material have already come into the light, and have since released several shocking claims about the Sussex couple and the rest of the British Royal Family.
Royal fans deemed them “disrespectful”
In an online forum, Quora, several royal fans and supporters across the globe asserted that Finding Freedom, as well as Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, is “disrespectful.” While others noted that it is direct disrespect to Queen Elizabeth, many countered that the book and the couple are rude not only to the British Monarch but, to the whole nation of the United Kingdom, as well.
Many fans have pointed out that all they did in their time as working royals was whine. They have also, reportedly, continued to “insult” the British public with their “complaints” while they lived off from the taxpayers’ money.
Some of the netizens continued to slam the Sussex couple because of the shocking claims in the book. Others even commented that the book’s aim to get the sympathy of the public is pure “rubbish.”
Prince Harry, Meghan Markle did not “contribute”
The PR team of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle responded to the excerpts and said that the Sussex couple did not have any involvement in the creation of the book. “They were never interviewed,” the spokesperson said.
Despite refuting the majority’s opinion about the Duke and Duchess’s involvement, their family members, reportedly, believe otherwise. Meghan Markle’s father, Thomas Markle Sr, said that he no longer trusts his daughter.
Similarly, Prince Harry’s brother, reportedly, had the same notion. Prince William thinks that Finding Freedom is just the Sussex couple’s way of controlling the narrative, a source told Us Weekly.
