Heidi Klum, 36, is a German model, actress, television host, business woman, fashion designer, television producer, artist, and occasional singer. She is married to singer Seal. Heidi Klum was the Emmy Award-nominated hostess of Project Runway and Germany’s Next Top model, and is a Victoria’s Secret Angel.

Klum is mesmerizingly lovely, her face looks as crisp as a Macon apple and for a 36 year old mom still looks absurdly hot and young.

1. How do you stay in shape?

Heidi Klum: LOL! Always that question! The main thing is healthy eating, exercise, which I do for special events, like if it’s Sports Illustrated, or the swim suit catalogue for Victoria’s Secret, or my own calendar that I did for the year 2000. I go and train with a personal trainer. But I think the main thing is all in what you eat.

2. Which types of products are essential for any evening bag?

Heidi Klum: Evening bags are getting smaller and smaller so I can only fit the bare necessities in my clutch for red carpet touch-ups. I keep Beauty Rush blotting sheets, a Very Sexy powder compact and small blush brush, and the Very Sexy lip gloss or lipstick shade I’m wearing for the evening. I check my makeup about every hour to make sure everything is in place. Then I’ll use the blotting sheets, which are great alternatives to powder because you won’t wind up with an inch of makeup on by the end of the night. But powder and gloss are equally important to keep your makeup looking fresh and pretty. My super-secret tip is I can’t fit the powder compact into a very tiny evening bag; I’ll take some shavings of the pressed powder wrapped in a tissue!

3. How much do you eat a day?

Heidi Klum: I actually eat a lot. I just eat the right things. For example, for breakfast a little fruit. I love oatmeal with, like, fruit in it, berries or bananas; you have to get creative with it! You can actually make it taste good! For lunch, a big salad with chicken or pasta. For dinner, I do a lot of stir-fried in the wok, with cabbage, all different vegetables, rice. If you eat a big lunch and breakfast and a medium dinner, you shouldn’t have to eat all the munchy stuff in between and you should be fine. People always starve themselves, and then they get hungry, and then they eat the wrong things, like chips or cookies or whatever they can grab. You can grab, just eat healthy. Alcohol is not good either.

4. What sexy look does your husband Seal like best on you?

Heidi Klum: He’s pretty unusual because he doesn’t like it when I wear my hair down. Like, today I spent an hour getting my hair to look full and sexy. But all he wants is for me to pull my hair back in a bun or ponytail. He tells me he likes to see my face and the hair just gets in the way! That makes it easy for me because it takes such little effort. I’m a lucky girl!

5. Which Hollywood icon do you think is the sexiest?

Heidi Klum: Definitely Marilyn Monroe. I’ve never tried to look like her, but I admire her greatly. She was always so feminine and sexy. She had these great curves that she loved to show off. She wore these tight dresses that always made her look so good. It’s difficult to find dresses like that these days because so many of them poof out, but Dolce & Gabanna has a few. Now and then I like to slip into a dress that hugs my curves.

What is your everyday routine for makeup?

Heidi Klum: Moisturizer, mascara and lip gloss. That’s the minimum I wear. I keep it simple.
