Two teaser clips for the CBS special were released on Sunday and in one of the trailers Oprah states “there is no subject that is off-limits.”

Given the global interest in the Sussexes, the no-holds-barred interview is expected to attract a vast audience.

Oprah With Meghan And Harry: A CBS Primetime Special is scheduled to air at 8pm EST in the US on Sunday, March 7 (1am on Monday in the UK.)

USA-based viewers can watch the CBS Primetime special on CBS at 8pm EST on Sunday.

It is yet to be confirmed whether or not the much-anticipated interview will be aired by a UK channel after it goes out in the USA on Sunday.

According to reports, British broadcaster ITV may show the 90-minute programme but as yet this has not been confirmed.

Whether or not Meghan and Harry’s sitdown will be aired by a British network is likely to emerge in the coming days.

UK-based royal fans keen to watch the programme should keep an eye on social media where clips from the sitdown are expected to be widely shared once it goes out on Sunday.

There is also a chance parts of the interview will be uploaded onto the CBS YouTube channel, where preview clips have already been shared.

A description of the teaser clips on CBS’s YouTube channel reads: “Get a first glimpse at Oprah Winfrey’s interview with The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Meghan and Harry, where ‘there is no subject that is off limits.'”

What will the interview be about?

Oprah’s interview will focus mainly on Meghan with Prince Harry joining at the end.

A CBS description of the programme read: “Winfrey will speak with Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex, in a wide-ranging interview, covering everything from stepping into life as a Royal, marriage, motherhood, philanthropic work to how she is handling life under intense public pressure.

“Later, the two are joined by Prince Harry as they speak about their move to the United States and their future hopes and dreams for their expanding family.”

On Friday, US TV journalist Gayle King added to the hype around the TV special by claiming sources had told her it was Oprah’s best work yet.

Royal author and editor Omid Scobie tweeted a quote from Ms King, who claimed insiders have told her Oprah’s sitdown with Sussexes is “the best interview she’s ever done.

Mr Scobie tweeted: “Gayle King on the forthcoming ‘Oprah with Meghan & Harry’ special:

“I’ve heard from reliable sources—this is Oprah talking—that it’s the best interview she’s ever done. I think that’s saying something!”

During one of the preview clips, Prince Harry compares his and Meghan’s treatment during their time as working royals to that of his late mother Princess Diana.

Speaking to Oprah, the Duke said: “I’m just really relieved and happy to be sitting here, talking to you, with my wife by my side, because I can’t begin to imagine what it must have been like for her, going through this process by herself, all those years ago.

Because it has been unbelievably tough for the two of us, but at least we had each other.”
