Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge and sister-in-law Meghan Markle, Duchess of Sussex always hit the headlines for some reason or the other. And now, the former is in the spotlight as her personal secretary apparently left the job recently. Catherine Quinn, who has worked with her for the last two years, resigned and the same was done on an amicable note. For the unversed, departure of another royal aide, Sophie Agnew was not the same. She was reportedly dismissed from her job after she returned from her honeymoon.

Speaking of Quinn, she was in charge of Middleton’s appointments and engagements. As per Daily Mail, she wants more time for her other interests. A source told Rebecca English told Daily Mail, “Catherine is a thoroughly lovely lady and has achieved a lot working for the duchess. But she simply wants to take a step back and focus again on her charity work. They are parting on the best of terms.”

Her decision to quit the job has created a lot of buzz among royal family followers as such appointments are usually done after a long process. Before joining as a royal aide, Quinn was based at the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School and prior to that, she worked at a charitable healthcare foundation called the Wellcome Trust.
