RICHARD NICOLL, Anya Hindmarch and Moschino Cheap & Chic will show in a catwalk format at London Fashion Week in September, as confirmed via the British Fashion Council’s spring/summer 2013 LFW schedule which was released this morning. Millinery legend Philip Treacy joins Preen and Rag & Bone – who are also new to this season’s schedule – to present at LFW.
Other labels to hold solo catwalk shows for the first time include Lucas Nascimento and Marques Almeida, while Willow and Huishan Zhang will stage debut presentations. LFW will kick-start on Friday September 14 with Antoni & Alison, Fyodor Golan, Willow, Zoe Jordan and Sass & Bide, followed by Huishan Zhang, Fashion East, House of Holland, Rag & Bone, JW Anderson and Moschino Cheap & Chic on Saturday 15. Sunday’s highlights will include a host of London big guns, including Mary Katrantzou, Marios Schwab, Matthew Williamson, Preen, Jonathan Saunders, Temperley London and Philip Treacy who will round up the weekend’s shows that evening.
On Monday, the fashion pack have Burberry, Christopher Kane, Peter Pilotto, Erdem, Richard Nicoll and Giles to look forward to, before the schedule wraps up on Tuesday with Meadham Kirchhoff, Mulberry, Roksanda Ilincic, Anya Hindmarch, Holly Fulton and Fashion Fringe. – Vogue
