Unearthed clip shows Meghan Markle and Harry leaving party straight after Prince Charles chat

Prince Harry was seen having a chat with dad Prince Charles before the couple kissed goodbye and left the garden party back in May 22, 2018 – Royal fans are unsure what to make of the footage

Royal fans have unearthed a clip which shows Prince Harry talking to Prince Charles before they left his garden party two years ago – and they are unsure what to make of it. It came after author Lady Colin Campbell claimed the Harry and Meghan Markle decision to leave the Royal Family began just days after their wedding.

She told Daily Star Online the first “warning” something wasn’t quite right was four days after Prince Harry and Meghan Markle wed at Windsor Castle on May 19, 2018.

On May 22, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex joined the Royal Family in the grounds of Buckingham Palace where the Duchess of Cornwall and the Prince of Wales gathered for a party for Charles. Royal fans shared a clip on social media last week and discussed what was happening in the footage.

It shows Meghan talking to the guests before Prince Charles walks over and whisper to Harry’s ear. Charles is seen saying goodbye to the couple before Camilla approaches and kisses them on the cheeks.

Meghan gives them a small wave before they walk away from the rest of the garden party. The 45-second clip was first posted in October on Twitter – and the uploader claimed: “Remember the garden party held in honour of Charles’ 70th?

“And #themarkles were asked to leave 40 minutes in because of Meghan’s behaviour? “They were escorted out along with their entourage. M was not happy!” Others did not believe this interpretation of the footage. One claimed Meghan left because “she was bored” while another suggested the duo had to leave early.

A royal fan added: “I remember they have to leave early because they were on their way to their honeymoon and had to catch their flight (or train?). They were only ever staying very briefly.”
