The $4,500 detail spotted in Meghan’s first appearance since pregnancy announcement

Pregnant Meghan Markle has made her first public appearance since announcing she is expecting her second baby with Prince Harry.

The Duchess of Sussex chose the Oscar de la Renta Citrus Primavera Peplum Hem Dress, which retails for $4500 in Australia, for an appearance at Spotify’s Stream On event.

Harry and Meghan – who recently were stripped of their royal patronages by the Queen – made the surprise appearance from their couch at their California home.

“We created Archewell Audio to make sure that we can elevate voices that maybe aren’t being heard and hear people’s stories,” Meghan went on.

Before Harry added: “And the biggest part of this is to create this community of where you can share, that will encourage everybody else to then share their own vulnerabilities within that safe space.”

When the creation of Archewell Audio was first announced the company said in a press release that Harry and Meghan would “host and produce podcasts that build community through shared experience, narratives, and values”.

“What we love about podcasting is that it reminds all of us to take a moment and to really listen, to connect to one another without distraction,” Harry and Meghan said in a statement.

‘Challenges’ of 2020

“With the challenges of 2020, there has never been a more important time to do so, because when we hear each other, and hear each other’s stories, we are reminded of how interconnected we all are.”

News of the deal came just a few months after Prince Harry and Markle signed a deal with Netflix for exclusive TV and film projects.

The royal couple will make documentaries, docu-series, feature films, scripted shows and children’s programming, some of which they may appear in.

“Our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope,” Prince Harry and wife Meghan said in a statement.

“As new parents, making inspirational family programming is also important to us.”

The pair added that they were “pleased to work with Netflix, saying its “unprecedented reach” would “help us share impactful content that unlocks action”.

“Our lives, both independent of each other, and as a couple have allowed us to understand the power of the human spirit: of courage, resilience, and the need for connection.”

“Through our work with diverse communities and their environments, to shining a light on people and causes around the world, our focus will be on creating content that informs but also gives hope.”
