Since its inception in 1856 by Thomas Burberry has today branded stores and franchise all over the world.

Burberry Fashion house is known for its luxury clothing line, fragrances, handbags and different other fashion accessories. Besides, Burberry is the first fashion house that invented gabardine in 1880, which was a hardwearing and water resistant fabric.

Burberry launched its first shop in the Haymarket, London in 1831, which is still running successfully. In 2914, Burberry fashion house was ordered to make War Officers’ coat to suit the circumstances of modern warfare. Burberry then produced first ‘trench coat’ which gained immense popularity even after the war.

In October 2006, Burberry launched its transactional store in UK and in March 2007, it expanded its range of stores across the selected European countries.

Currently, Burberry has over 70 shops worldwide.
