Arrondissement Aq1

Germany based fashion designer Christina Arend was born in 1984 and grew up in southern Germany. She studied fashion design and stations at Kaviar Gauche in Berlin, Germany. She had worked as illustrator for freelance projects as such Jasmine Di Milo in London, Fendi in New York and many others. But the longing to launch her own ‘Made in Germany’ collection paved her to start “Arrondissement Aq1” fashion label where ‘Aq1’ is actually the Latin code for eagle.

Christina Arend, the force behind internationally acclaimed fashion label Aq1 is recognized for her hard work, passion and love she owns for fashion world. It was her aspiring thought to lead her own fashion brand that today ranks her one of the best fashion designers.

Arrondissement Aq1 fashion label has a complete range of gorgeous handbags, accessories and outfits that honored Christina Arend and her whole team of Aq1 the ‘BUNTE new faces award 2010’. Jury remarked, “Her fashion is extremely cool, young and classically at the same time, wonderfully fresh and wearable.”

Christina Arend’s fashion label arrondissement Aq1 collection contains a blend of evening, casual, graphics and special details that were first showcased at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Berlin and got Christina Arend to won the Premium Young Designer Award Spring Summer 2010 for accessories. The second collection of Aq1 was aimed to present “Oneness Universe” that was more dynamic with clean graphical lines.

Arrondissement Aq1 thus gained much attention in its first season. It was also the part of the Tranoi fashion fair Paris and was also accompanied in the EU Gateway program that’s was a sponsorship to support young designer at the launch in Japan.
