Alberta Ferretti’s latest fall collection 2011 at Milan Fashion Week started with a Sixties Pop sensibility, opening with a color blocked shift under a snappy coat covered in cartoonlike scales, some Modish coats and tunic-pants combos but then Ferretti’s latest collection 2011 took a glistening interval of tech-y shine loaded with slicked metallic jackets and coats, lacy boudoir frocks, oversize Baroque embellishments and ultra ethereal eveningwear. The only thing common throughout the show was high drama of over-the-knee velvet boots shown with almost everything.
