Andrew Gn Ready-to-wear Fall/Winter 2011 collection from Paris Fashion Week.

Andrew Gn ready-to-wear fall collection 2011 at Paris Fashion Week Ready-to-wear 2011-2012 was essentially a collection of shirts, jackets and coats with simple leather pants and jersey leggings.

The ready-to-wear fall collection 2011 by Andrew Gn displayed exquisitely detailed bodice such as a hand-pleated, fan shaped collar of a triple organza blouse that grazed the model’s chin, the neckline of a plisse tulle top embroidered with a bib of tonal crystals and the asymmetrical lapels of a jacket.

Evening wear was a similier story with bodice adorned delicately with beads and sequins, metallic or jewel-tone silk falling in orderly pleats to the floor. However, as rich as the fall ready-to-wear collection 2011 was, in that sense, the focus on the upper half of the body made this show feel repetitive. It would've been nice to see Andrew Gn apply his robust imagination to skirts, pants, and a cocktail frock or two.
