Stella Mccartney Ready-to-wear Fall/Winter 2011 collection from Paris Fashion Week.
Stella McCartney’s fall ready-to-wear collection 2011 at Paris Fashion Week was a masculine-feminine mash-up of simplistic nature.
For daywear, McCartney focused the attention on a full, rounded sleeve falling from a dropped shoulder, which expressed volume while keeping the line of pleated dresses, as well as blouse worn with pants.
McCartney added a touch of fancy and glamour with gold effects. While her crumpled foil print felt strained, actual shiny foil bonded onto wool gave sturdy tunics an appealing flamboyance.
For eveningwear, McCartney’s ready-to-wear fall collection 2011 was blushed up with sexy touch of polka dots, which came in two ways: in matte fabric paillettes, as in a saucy Sixties-ish trapeze, and hand-embroidered onto tulle that was layered with, or inset into black.
