Chanel held a dinner for Blake Lively

Fashion giant Chanel held a dinner for its adorable official ambassador for its new Mademoiselle handbag line, Blake Lively, on Wednesday night at La Grenouille.

 

The glittering party was attended by a large group of socialites including, Maggie Betts, Byrdie Bell, Lauren Remington Platt, Marina Rust, Jamie Tisch and Lauren DuPont. The ‘Gossip Girl’ star fashionably arrived late and also brought along her parents, who will also accompany her to Paris this week.

When asked if she would make her way down the Chanel runway this season, lively demurred.  “I would probably do anything Karl Lagerfeld asked me to do but there are so many models that are so good at it,” she said. “I’d rather watch Sasha Pivovarova than me.”
