As 2013 comes to a close, it’s only right that we find out who and what made Pinterest’s fashion-loving users tick. We already know that Chanel is the most-pinned brand worldwide , but what about in the UK?
Well, we have the answers. British bridal designer Jenny Packham – a favourite of the Duchess of Cambridge – takes the most-pinned designer crown, thanks to an image of the ‘Esme’ dress from her 2013 bridal collection catwalk show , which became the most-pinned designer look in the UK and highlights Pinterest’s use as a mood board HQ for future brides.
But what about the most-pinned celebrity? That accolade goes to the one and only Victoria Beckham, WAG, former pop star and now world-conquering fashion designer. The above image of Mrs Beckham popping into a west London fish and chip shop (yes, you read that correctly) in a jeans, a navy jumper and carrying a self-designed £1,300 handbag seems to have caught the attention of Pinterest users nationwide who re-pinned it in their thousands.
When it comes to coveting celebrity wardrobes, you’ll be surprised what the pinners of Britain lust after the most. Despite the swathes of celebrity wardrobes we see day-in-day-out, the most-loved item is a pair of sandals worn by actress Rachel Bilson in June 2013. But they’re not just any sandals, they’re a pair from her collaboration with Steve Madden and stylist Nicole Chavez for e-tailer ShoeMint. The leopard print $80 ‘Bridget’ sandals are now sold out, so lovers will just have to search for something similar.
