BRIDE Dubai 2013 gave a Show Stopping Performance

BRIDE Dubai Image 1Officially launched by Her Highness Sheikha Sheikha Bint Saif, wife of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan Bin Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, BRIDE Dubai once again lived up to its name as the region’s biggest and most prestigious bridal event with a record breaking number of visitors flocking to the 2013 show.

The four day show hosted more than 300 leading global and regional wedding industry exhibitors showcasing everything from a dazzling range of dresses, shoes and accessories to photography, honeymoon packages, electronics and jewelry.

Among the collection of more interesting items on display were the unique mother of pearl clutch bags from Quirky, 17th century French perfume from Studio 90, Czech crystal studded platform shoes from the Shoe Palace as well as bespoke and embellished Turkish accessories that guests could enjoy in the Turkish Pavilion.

A highlight of the show was the headline sponsor LG, who gave visitors the chance to win amazing LG prizes including an Optimus G Smartphone, 21:9 Ultra Widescreen IPS Monitor and a 42 inch Full HD LED TV.

Other high-profile attractions included: silver sponsors and wedding film specialists Digitally; the unique Abaya and evening wear designer Mauzan; Art Clothing, Sana’a Kayum’s bespoke “Handloom at its Best” collection; dnata, one of the world’s largest air travel service providers; and Apparel Group featuring brands such as Dune, Nine West and Inglot.

The show also marked the launch of 20 exclusive Haute Couture Fashion Shows with outstanding performances from a phenomenal collection of designers including show opener Lamia Abinader, Saudi fashion designer Qassem Al Qassem’s Shalky collection, contemporary wedding dress designer Hana and Dar Swissa Fashion.

Guests also got to enjoy to the reappearance of one of the UAE’s favourite bridal designers, Khaled Khalil. The Palestinian designer made his return to Dubai for the first time since 2006 and wowed the crowds with his outstanding collection of custom-made wedding gowns.

“It brings the team great joy to see so many brides and their families planning for one of the biggest day of their lives and we are delighted that BRIDE Dubai is there to inspire the hearts of brides-to-be from across the region.” New additions to the show also proved to be extremely popular as guests enjoyed the beautiful collections of jewels and diamonds in the Jewellery Pavilion, as well as the exceptional haute couture designs in Fashion Avenue, and the exclusive VIP Lounge saw a flurry of guests throughout the duration of the show to enjoy a spot of relaxation and pampering.
