Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were mocked for their “victim mentality” by a British politician and author in a brutal rant.

Former Brexit Party MEP Ann Widdecombe mocked Prince Harry and Meghan Markle for being “professional whinger.” She had issues with the royal couple because of their “victim mentality” despite being “privileged beyond belief.”

According to Widdecombe, Prince Harry was damaging the royal family. She also disliked how the duke has continued to attack his relatives after leaving the institution. She believed that the prince was very hurtful to the Queen.

“And I think they should keep quiet, I mean they are privileged beyond belief and they moan that they were cut off financially,” she told Express.

She added that the couple was a “joke” while noting they’re $14 million mansions in California. According to Widdecombe, the pair’s behavior is “unbelievable.”

“They are privileged, they are professional victims, they are professional whingers, and having said that they wanted privacy they’ve done nothing except publicize every last detail of life,” Widdecombe added.

Widdecombe was also asked about Ofcom’s decision which cleared Piers Morgan from his comments against Meghan Markle. According to Widdecombe, she was cheering for it. She added that she has tried to keep her Express column a Sussex-free zone because they thrive on publicity.

Ofcom received almost 60,000 complaints, including one from Markle, after Morgan said he didn’t “believe a word” the duchess said during her and Prince Harry’s interview with Winfrey. Ofcom said while the comments were potentially harmful and offensive, they took full account of freedom of expression.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left the royal family last year. They have been living in California for over a year already.

The royal couple was able to close a multi-million deal with Netflix and Spotify. They have also made several interviews in the past, including their bombshell tell-all with Oprah Winfrey. However, according to royal expert Duncan Larcombe, the Sussexes are more trapped than they were before.

Larcombe noted that if freedom is allowing them to say what they want when they want to whoever they want, then Prince Harry has found a degree of freedom. However, if freedom is having goodwill behind to live in peace while living the life they want and being at peace with the people they have a rift with, then the couple is still not free.
