Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have been slammed for using their royal titles and many believe they are heading toward a tipping point.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry still hold their royal titles. Queen Elizabeth II bestowed them the Duke and Duchess of Sussex title on their wedding day. They still hold their HRH titles, but the Queen forbid them from using them after they stepped down from their royal duties. But they can still use their peerage title — the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

However, most of the people do not want them to use any of their royal titles because they are already in the U.S. Also, they do not represent the royal family anymore. The Sussex critics do not want Prince Harry and Markle to associate themselves with the British royals.

After Markle’s paid leave letter was published, several netizens urged the Queen to just remove her and Prince Harry’s royal titles. Apparently, they didn’t like it whenever the couple use their titles.
