Whoopi Goldberg May Finally Get Lost In Disgusting Holocaust Comments

When you’re a leftwing media figure, you’re essentially bulletproof. Things that will oust Republicans in the blink of an eye are allowed as long as they are uttered by a loyal Democrat, and a recurring beneficiary of that fact is Whoopi Goldberg.

The longtime co-host of The View on ABC has come in here, for lack of a better phrase, multiple times. You will probably remember his defense of Roman Polanski in 2009 in which he insisted that his alleged sexual assault on a woman was not “rape, rape.”

But while that is just one example, Goldberg, ever the spirited type, added another to the list. Social media exploded with the news that the actress and commentator, during an uninformed discussion about the book “Maus” being removed from the Tennessee school district curriculum, was launched into a rant about whether how the Holocaust “isn’t about racism” but it’s “Whites do it to whites.”

Here’s what it looks like.

This kind of racism is despicable. It also happens with no historical knowledge. The Nazis fully saw the Jews as a separate race unworthy of their humanity. It’s not just “white people do it to white people,” nor would that be relevant anyway. Genocide is genocide, and it’s really bad.

What Goldberg does, however, is repeat a common trope among the woke, which is to assert that racism and other forms of discrimination are somehow reduced if they are not directed at specific, preferred minorities. .

Let’s also note that this massive commentary occurred as Goldberg and his cohorts were trying to completely twist the facts about the removal of “Maus” from a middle-school reading list in Tennessee. At any point, the school district attempted not to point out the Holocaust. All they do is look for a book that is more age-appropriate with no content, nudity, profanity, and suicide.

Yes, students should learn about all the graphic details of the Holocaust, but it’s not out of line for parents to wait to gradually expose their children there, introducing even more. adult themes as they get older. Somehow, that common sense approach from a local school board turned into a week-long, national freakout.

Why? Because everyone is to blame for “white supremacy,” and that’s the basis for Goldberg’s ridiculous remark. He just said out loud the quiet side that many, many anti-Semites believe.

As for any upcoming penalties, you can bet nothing. Goldberg may apologize, but he will keep his job and his unrequited sense of moral superiority. Of course, Disney (which owns ABC) treated Gina Carano, formerly of The Mandalorian, in a completely different way. When Carano made what was, at worst, a slightly insensitive comparison to the Holocaust, he got the boot and weeks of revenge in the media. However, Goldberg, who has done something worse, is unlikely to even be slapped on the wrist.

Ultimately, the left doesn’t really care about antisemitism. They only pretend to be concerned when they feel they are getting something out of politics. In fact, they celebrate the violent anti-Semites in their midst. There are no consequences for that, nor will there be for Goldberg.
