The 28-year-old looked like a screen siren of yesteryear in a glamorous backless white gown at the premiere for her new film The Last Five Years at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sunday. The Pitch Perfect star showed off her slender frame in the floor-length frock, which featured cutouts at the chest and a plunging back.

She wore her auburn hair in sleek waves over her shoulders and kept her make-up subtle, opting for smokey eyes and nude lips. The actress kept her accessories to a minimum, carrying a simple maroon clutch and sporting a silver bracelet and earrings.

In the film, Anna co-stars with Smash stud Jeremy Jordan, who plays novelist Jamie Wellerstein in love with Anna’s struggling actress character Cathy. Based on the 2002 off-Broadway musical, the duo each illustrates the struggle and deconstruction of their love affair.
