What Kate Middleton Wants George, Charlotte, and Louis to Remember About Their Childhood

Kate, Duchess of Cambridge remains one of the most popular members of the royal family, year after year. Kate has been in the royal circle for nearly two decades now and has managed to stay remarkably controversy-free.roy

The public undoubtedly loves Kate and as she slowly transitions into taking on more and more responsibility within the royal family, she’s been able to maintain an incredible amount of grace and dignity. One thing that people love about the Duchess of Cambridge is how she truly seems to be a great mother to her children.

Recently, Kate gave a rare interview where she opened up about raising her children and the moments that she hopes they always remember.

Kate was raised in a solid, upper-middle-class family in Berkshire, England. She has one brother and one sister and has remained close with her siblings over the years.

Kate attended the University of St. Andrews, where she met Prince William. The two became fast friends and started dating in 2003. Over the next several years, Kate and Prince William were seen together several times, but the young couple worked hard to keep their romance away from the prying eyes of the media.

Although Kate and Prince William broke up briefly in 2007, they quickly reunited and remained inseparable after that. In late 2010, the couple got engaged, with Prince William presenting Kate with his late mother’s sapphire and diamond engagement ring.

In early 2011, Kate and Prince William got married, in a lavish ceremony that was watched by millions of royal fans and supporters. The two announced that they were expecting a baby in late December 2012, and welcomed their first child, Prince George, in July 2013.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have since had two more children: Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

Prince William and Kate are very busy people, with many responsibilities and tasks to accomplish every day. However, they clearly take great joy in being with their children and are much more hands-on than many royal parents.

The couple has often been seen kneeling down to talk to their children face to face, showing that they aren’t afraid to get down on their level and relate to them.

Kate also has been known to get strict with her kids from time to time and has been seen reprimanding her kids when they get too rowdy in public or throw temper tantrums. All in all, both Kate and Prince William truly seem to enjoy being parents and love spending time with the three little ones.

The Duchess of Cambridge has continued to set new standards and break barriers when it comes to parenting within the royal family. Recently, she gave an interview to the popular podcast Happy Mum, Happy Baby, where she talked about parenting and her particular hopes for her three small children.

Kate opened up, stating: “Someone did ask me the other day, what would you want your children to remember about their childhood? And I thought that was a really good question, because actually if you really think about that, is it that I’m sitting down trying to do their maths and spelling homework over the weekend.

Or is it the fact that we’ve gone out and lit a bonfire and sat around trying to cook sausages that hasn’t worked because it’s too wet?”Ultimately, Kate claimed that those moments are the ones that she “would want them to remember” rather than a “stressful household.” She also admitted that “the simple things, like watching a fire on a really rainy day provides such enjoyment.”

There’s no doubt that Kate’s honesty and openness about parenting will earn her even more fans as the weeks go on.
