Such sad news. FKA Twigs and Robert Pattinson have reportedly called off their wedding, according to Life & Style! Robert and FKA have “been on the outs” since he began filming The Lost City of Z, and allegedly decided, on October 28, to officially break up. We can’t believe this!
“FKA called Rob on his first day of filming to tell him that she couldn’t visit because of her busy schedule,” a source told Life & Style. “[He] let her know he wasn’t happy about it,” and FKA allegedly “lost her temper,” and “yelled at him to stop complaining and hung up on him.” Yikes!
Following their alleged argument on that first day of filming (October 1), Robert and FKA apparently “went into a long period of not speaking to each other,” according to the source. The couple, who have been together since August 2014, then reportedly decided to break up because of the nasty fight and following deep freeze. Poor FKA, and poor Robert!
Robert’s family, according to the source, is reportedly not as heartbroken as he is that the couple is no longer engaged. “They don’t think she’s right for Rob,” they added. That has to be hard to hear for FKA, especially since she opened up to Paper magazine’s November 2015 issue about her deep desires for marriage and motherhood.
“I’m quite traditional. You know that saying, ‘You can take the girl out of the country but you can’t take the country out of the girl’? I grew up in Gloucestershire, and there’s a certain format that people fit into,” FKA told Paper. “I’m actually quite happy with the format. I’m quite happy to say, ‘Go to school, work hard on your GCSEs, do your A-Levels, get married, have children. Send your kids to a nice school. Make sure you’re in the right catchment area,’” she said.
