St. Moritz, Switzerland

One hidden vacation pearl, camouflaged amidst the beauty of the Alps.

We all like a ‘getaway’ and some like theirs fancier than the others. Celebrities however have the best ones that one can have. And such an example of one exceptional vacation spot is St. Moritz in Switzerland.

A small town in the Alps with an area of roughly 30 square kilometers St. Moritz is Eden on earth of snow lowers. While all year long it offers a splendid view of the mountain tops and is a mesmerizing thought, contrary to the much popular belief of cold regions during snow becoming inaccessible, St. Moritz defied all such beliefs and defied all odds by hosting the winter Olympics with its frozen lakes being ground for Polo matches.

Apart from its fame gained due to its great contribution to the sporting world, it has also acclaimed great fame through movies. It has fortunately been on the screen and stage both by being part of a comedy play called ‘private lives’ and also James Bonds FilmGold finger’.

St. Moritz not only offers the widest array of sporting facilities such as skiing, snow boarding and perhaps just being mesmerized by the sun glowing on the snow capped Alps. St Moritz also offers a wide array of luxurious living and fine dining for those of our guests who like living it with style. And nothing gets better for you if you’re a mountain lover, because, YES St. Moritz offers you hiking facilities too.

While Switzerland itself is famous for their army knives, their watches and their mouth watering chocolates, I think its about time that the Swiss reveal this splendid gem of an artifact that is not only one of the greatest sources of inspiration but St Moritz with its bleak population of a merely a few thousand people is indeed a haven for hospitality and great fun.
