Salma Hayek Curvaceous FigureShe has just been revealed as the new face of prestigious Italian jewellery company, Pomellato. And Salma Hayek proved she was the perfect choice as she attended a cocktail event celebrating her new collaboration with the brand on Thursday afternoon.

The stunning actress cut a stylish figure as she officially took over from actress Tilda Swinton as the brand’s ambassador. The striking 48-year-old looked elegant in a plunging purple wrap dress which featured ruffled detail.

She added height to her look with strappy gold heels while she accessorised with a purple snakeskin clutch bag and a statement necklace. The actress let her natural beauty shine through with minimal make-up and wore her brunette locks back in a simple up-do.

Salma was the guest of honour at the bash which was hosted by the brand’s chief executive officer Andrea Morante. Speaking of the new campaign, Andrea said: ‘With Salma, Pomellato is living a new adventure and a beautiful transformation while remaining true to its origins’.

The aquatic portraits for the campaign were snapped in Los Angeles by the duo of photographers Mert & Marcus. Salma said: ‘A jewel by Pomellato has the character and the power to enhance the personality of a woman. It allows her to reinvent herself every time you wear it.’

Pomellato was founded back in 1967, and are likely most well known for their “Nudo” rings, which feature a simply yet beautifully cut stone. For actress, producer and activist Salma, this is a return to Pomellato, which is controlled by her husband François-Henri Pinault and his luxury group Kering.
