Lively took to her Instagram stories to show off the fact that her husband hadn’t had a haircut in quite a while, which ended up being the perfect photo that we all needed to get us through these tough times.
Lively shared a quick photo of Reynolds’ hair length, which is still short by any measure, but yet, long enough to be styled in a…ponytail? Lively captioned the photo of Reynolds with an adorable mini ponytail that read, “I dare you to forget this every time you see him for the rest of eternity.”
The ‘Deadpool’ actor rocked a very low, very tiny ponytail which was held in place by a turquoise scrunchie, likely provided by one of their children.
Reynolds eventually replied with his own Instagram story and caption that read, “Clearly your birth control doesn’t work, so…” The couple have been back and forth with playful jabs since 2015, which has resulted in fans falling in love with the pair and their good-natured spirit.
Reynolds explained on ‘Live With Kelly and Ryan’ that their playful banter is a sign of a “healthy relationship. Ryan Seacrest pointed out during the interview, “You and your wife Blake love to roll each other on Instagram. It’s become a sport.”
Reynolds replied, “Oh yeah, we do once in a while. It’s kind of like what my dad used to say, ‘If you can’t say anything nice, say something embarrassing.’ That’s how we roll. … I think it’s a sign of a healthy relationship, personally.
I do, yeah.” When Seacrest pressed on about whether or not the playful teasing gets him in trouble, Reynolds explained that he feels their fans all know that its a joke and never malicious. Any trouble it may get him at home, he can “handle that”, he joked.
