Ellen DeGeneres’ Staff Calls Her ‘Mean,’ Urges Others To Share Stories

Ellen DeGeneres was recently criticized by her former staff, Kevin Porter. On his Twitter account, Porter vowed to donate $2 to the Los Angeles Food Back for every insane story about DeGeneres other people can share with him.

“Right now, we all need a little kindness. You know, like Ellen DeGeneres always talks about! She’s also notoriously one of the meanest people alive. Respond to this with the most insane stories you’ve heard about Ellen being mean and I’ll match everyone with $2 to @LAFoodBank,” Porter tweeted.

Thousands of people responded to Porter’s tweet with shocking stories about DeGeneres. However, the “Ellen Show” host has not confirmed any one of them.

“I just remember my girlfriend watching a clip of Ellen and Ellen was belittling and just being an ass to someone who said they worked as a manager at I believe an in-n-out. An example was the next person she asked what they do for work and she said whatever she does and Ellen was,” Twitter user @PepPlayboy said.

“I worked @RealFoodDaily served her and Portia at brunch. She wrote a letter to the owner and complained about my chipped nail polish (not that it was on her plate but just that it was on my hand). I had worked till closing the night before and this was next morning, almost got me fired,” Twitter user @ChrisLFarah said.

“There was that time she bullied Mariah Carey into admitting she was pregnant,” Twitter user @JimmyP215 said.

“An old friend worked on her lot & smiled & said ‘good afternoon’ to her one day & she became unhinged. ‘Who do you think you are? You don’t look at me’ yada yada. She said Portia was with her & seemed embarrassed & tried to calm her down. Has forever changed my opinion of her,” Twitter user @TheOnlyDetox said.

Porter gave an update regarding what he tried to achieve and revealed that things got out of hand. He also admitted that he didn’t know how to prove which stories about DeGeneres are real or not so he just rounded off his donations to $300.
