Just a few weeks before Carter Rubin took home the win for Gwen Stefani’s team, it was announced that Gwen wouldn’t be returning as a coach for season 20 of The Voice.
However, Nick Jonas, who recently took a one-year break from the show, will make a triumphant return, sitting in Gwen’s big red chair in the upcoming season.
According to sources, the insider Stefani is worried because grande “is so popular that the show may decide to stick with her, which means Gwen may never return.”
The inside source admits that “it’s a little awkward with Blake at the show right now, because the producers obviously don’t want to get him annoyed.” The source even goes on to say, “Blake keeps telling Gwen she’ll be back one day. She just has to be patient.”
If Nick comes out on top this season, however, he might not want to give up his chair. We’ll just have to wait to see how it unfolds!
