The Subtle Way Kate Middleton Snubbed Meghan Markle

Kate Middleton is currently in Ireland on a royal tour, and although she typically doesn’t speak out about what’s going on in the royal family, it’s been reported that she may have done just that but without saying a word at all.

The moment occurred after Kate and Prince William arrived in Ireland for a three-day tour and met with President Michael D. Higgins and his wife, Sabina, on Tuesday.

“Delighted to welcome you,” Sabina told Kate, according to Express. “You’ve had lots of exciting things happening in your family.”

Instead of egging on the conversation about the recent turmoil amongst the royal family, Kate reportedly went on to enjoy her time at the Home of Guinness in Dublin.

According to the British publication, “the comment clearly didn’t worry Kate too much, who was seen smiling and laughing for the cameras.” “The Duchess beamed for cameras alongside their hosts before later going on to enjoy a pint of Guinness at the Guinness Storehouse,” the report went on.

The Duchess of Cambridge isn’t the only royal who has been the subject of snubbing Meghan and Harry. Queen Elizabeth reportedly did the same when she banned the couple from using the word “royal” in their future endeavors.

The move made by the 93-year-old monarch was, apparently, one that truly upset the former “Suits” actress.

“Meghan said that [she and Harry] were left with no choice but to make a public statement,” a source revealed.

“She said if anyone should feel insulted, it should be them. They never intended to capitalize on the word royal, and to insinuate they were somehow abusing their privileges is absurd,” the insider continued. “She said she and Harry will continue to rise above jealousy and pettiness and focus on the good they are creating and on being the best parents to Archie.”

The statement from Duke and Duchess of Sussex read, “While there is not any jurisdiction by The Monarchy or Cabinet Office over the use of the word ‘Royal’ overseas, The Duke and Duchess of Sussex do not intend to use ‘Sussex Royal’ or any iteration of the word ‘Royal’ in any territory (either within the UK or otherwise) when the transition occurs Spring 2020.”
