Kendall strut her stuff for Oscar de la Renta at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week fall 2015

Earlier in the day, she rocked the catwalk in a military-chic ensemble for Marc Jacobs during New York Fashion Week. And Kendall Jenner showed off her versatile runway style as she went from edgy to elegant in a deep purple ball gown for the Oscar de la Renta fall 2015 presentation later on Tuesday.

The 19-year-old model stunned in the strapless creation that enhanced her cleavage and was covered in floral decorations. The Keeping Up With The Kardashian star’s dark hair was swept back in a sleek updo, showcasing her décolletage.

She appeared to be wearing minimal make-up, with only her brown eyes accentuated with thick winged eyeliner and mascara.

Kendall completed the look with a giant ring on her index finger and purple nail polish. Her proud momager, Kris Jenner, took to Instagram to share her excitement while posting a snap of the glam gal.

‘Elegant! Sophisticated! @KendallJenner walking for #OscarDeLaRenta!!! Congratulations @petercopping! @oscarprgirl #NYFW #superstar #proudmama,’ she wrote.

Though perfectly poised and straight-faced on the runway, the brunette beauty let loose backstage, sticking her tongue out playfully at one point.

The show was attended by the likes of Taylor Swift, who arrived in an ornate red de la Renta frock, accompanied by her BFF and Victoria’s Secret Angel Karlie Kloss in a turquoise de la Renta number.

Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour showed up in an eye-catching leopard print coat. Stylist-to-the-stars Rachel Zoe was hard to miss in a bright purple winter coat, while joined by her husband Rodger Berman.

A star-studded audience watched as the runway flowed with brightly coloured ball gowns, figure-hugging dresses with sleek silhouettes, as well as ornate cocktail dresses.

It was the first show since Peter Copping took the reins from Oscar de la Renta, who passed away in October.

Copping left a note on each seat, reading: ‘I am immensely proud to have been chosen as the creative director of Oscar de la Renta.

‘Unfortunately things did not go according to our plans and I never had the chance to work with Oscar, which is something I deeply regret.’

He expressed his intention ‘to start a new chapter for the house’ while continuing Oscar’s legacy. Taylor Swift summed the show up to The New York Times as ‘very, very beautiful.’

Meanwhile, Kendall has been ruling the runway for numerous high fashion brands during New York Fashion Week.
