Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have reportedly moved back in together.

The singer first sparked rumours she was back with her former fiancé when she joined him in his native Australia for the New Year. In the last few days she’s also been seen wearing what appears to be the same engagement ring the Hunger Games star gave her when he proposed back in June 2012.

And now it’s been reported the singer and Liam’s relationship has progressed even further after she was pictured unloading boxes from a removal van at the actor’s house in Malibu, California, over the weekend.

Sources told TMZ.com that Miley has gradually been moving her belongings into the property, with the weekend marking “the finale of her week-long moving process".

Miley and Liam ended their relationship and called off their engagement back in 2013. But it was recently reported that Miley had been hoping she and Liam could rekindle their romance for some time now.

A source told PEOPLE magazine: "Miley never got over Liam. Despite them constantly fighting before the split, Miley always said Liam is the love of her life.

"There were so many things that she loved about their relationship. They had a lot of fun and Liam was mostly very supportive of Miley.

"It seemed she was always hoping and dreaming that they one day could get back together again." Since their split, Miley’s love life has remained under the spotlight with a number of high-profile flings.

The songstress dated Patrick Schwarzenegger until April 2014 and was linked with Victoria’s Secret model Stella Maxwell for a short time afterwards. However during those romances the Wrecking Ball star never ruled out getting back with Liam and once revealed that the break-up occurred so she could grow as an individual.

“I was so scared of ever being alone, and I think, conquering that fear, this year, was actually bigger than any other transition that I had, this entire year," she told Barbara Walters in 2013.

“I don’t ever want to have to need someone again, where you feel like, without them, you can’t be yourself.” While back in October Liam admitted he would always have feelings for his ex.

"I mean, look — we were together five years, so I don’t think those feelings will ever change. And that’s good because that proves to me that it was real. It wasn’t just a fling.

"It really was an important part of my life and always will be," he told Men’s Health magazine.
