Prince Harry returned to the United Kingdom (UK) for the first time since Megxit to attend his grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral in Windsor, this weekend.

However, Meghan, 39, who is heavily pregnant, made “every effort” to travel from the United States (US) with her husband but didn’t receive medical clearance from her physician.

According to reports, it is alleged that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are going to pay tribute to The Queen with their baby daughter’s name.

Everyone knows her as Queen Elizabeth, however, Her Majesty’s parents and late husband lovingly referred to her as “Lilibet”. Royal fans on Twitter and Reddit have predicted that Harry and Meghan will give a nod to Her Majesty’s nickname by calling their baby girl Lily.
According to one fan, “I’m not sure how relationships are between the family, but Lily would be a cute way to honour the Queen (Lilibet).”

Another added: “I read a prediction somewhere that they could use Lily for the Queen because of her childhood nickname Lilibet. And because of Meghan’s wedding bouquet being Lily of the valley. I think that’s really sweet.”

According to Cosmopolitan, the nickname came about when a young Queen Elizabeth couldn’t pronounce her own name.

King George VI was once quoted saying: “Lilibet is my pride. Margaret is my joy.” Prince Philip was also heard using the sweet nickname.

“Lilibet is the only thing in this world which is absolutely real to me,” Philip said.
