“The brothers will be physically together for the ceremony but want to make their own personal addresses,” a source told The Sun.

“You might have thought they’d go for a joint statement and speech but that’s not the case. Each has insisted on preparing their own.”

The brothers commissioned the statue, which will be unveiled on what would have been Princess Diana’s 60th birthday. She died in 1997.

The revelation about the pair comes after months of rumors of an ongoing rift between the pair.

There was the hope of reconciliation at their grandfather Prince Philip’s funeral last month.

But the brothers did not line up shoulder to shoulder as they took their places for the procession.

William and Harry’s cousin Peter Phillips stood between the princes as they prepared to escort the coffin to St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.

Although the brothers were spotted chatting after the service, a two-hour meeting convened by their father, Prince Charles, reportedly did not go well.

Prince Harry could be out of the royal family
It comes after a royal biographer claimed Harry and Meghan’s time in the Royal family could be done when Prince Charles assumes the throne.

Angela Levin, who wrote a book on Harry in 2018 – titled Harry: A Biography of a Prince – claims the Prince of Wales intends to “cut the monarchy down” to save money.

“Prince Charles has wanted for a very long time to cut the monarchy down to save costs and to make people be worth the money that they get from the taxpayer,” Levin said.

“I imagine that might be when Harry and Meghan are ditched from being members of the royal family.”
