Queen Elizabeth II showed love for Prince Philip for the last time before his Death

Queen Elizabeth II never had an opportunity to visit Prince Philip when he was admitted to the hospital before death. However, as a wife, she ensures that his husband receives the utmost love of her.

Queen off her crown and focused on the husband for some time before death.

In April, The Duke of Edinburgh Prince Philip left the family forever and demised at the age of 99 due to “old age.”

All family mourns but they are back to their duties including the Queen who cannot forget the life she had spent with his childhood lover and beloved husband.

Sources told The Telegraph that Her Majesty stayed Prince Philip when he died on his bed.

It had been heard that royal members forced Prince Philip to shifted to the hospital but Queen fulfills his husband’s last wish to have stayed at the home.

“He spent most of the four weeks he was in the hospital trying to get home. They operated on his heart in a bid to give him a little longer, maybe with the 100th birthday in mind. But he didn’t care about that. There is no way he would have wanted to die in hospital,” the source said.

Sir Huw Thomas heavy heartedly said he died due to “old age.”

The Queen issued an emotional statement saying that he supported her all those years and how important he was for the family and the country.

On April 17, the funeral had taken place at St. George’s Chapel. But this is not his final resting place, his body will be transferred to King George’s memorial chapel once the Queen dies.

The chapel currently stores the remains of the Queen’s father, George VI. Queen Mother and Princess Margaret’s bodies also lie inside the chapel. Prince Philip’s body currently stays inside a marble slab in the Quire after being lowered to the Royal Vault.
