Solange Knowles, 28, has wed! The singer married her longtime love Alan Ferguson, 51, on Nov. 16. The lavish event took place in New Orleans, where Beyonce, 33, Jay Z, 44, and close friends and family gathered to watch the couple’s nuptials!
Solange married Alan in front of 200 guests in New Orleans, People reports. The couple arrived to the Marigny Opera House in New Orleans on white-painted bicycles. Solange looked stunning in a cream pantsuit with a cape and plunging neckline. Alan looked dapper in an all-white suit.
Beyonce, Jay Z and little Blue Ivy, 2, all attended the ceremony. All guests sported white for the special event. Bey and Blue Ivy wore lovely dresses, while Jay Z donned a sharp white suit.
The couple had a series of events planned for their wedding weekend. On Nov. 14, they had a relaxing movie night together before their rehearsal dinner on Nov. 15, Us Weekly reported.
Alan had been a close friend of the Knowles family for years, and even attended many red carpet events with Solange. They dated for five years before becoming engaged in June.
“Luckily, I dated all of the losers ages ago. My love life has been stable for a while,” Solange told Harper’s Bazaar in March 2014.
This will be the second wedding for Solange, who wed Daniel Smith in 2004. The couple has stayed on good terms to raise their son Julez Smith, 10.
