Prince William, Kate & Kids Walking’ Into Westminster … Coronation Rehearsal Time!

Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their children arrived at Westminster Abbey on Wednesday for Coronation rehearsals.

They were joined by King Charles, Queen Camilla, and other senior members for the dress rehearsal, which started early in the morning. Prince George, who will have an important role in Saturday’s historic event, looked smart in a blue suit, while Princess Charlotte, who turned eight the previous day, wore a blue dress and cardigan.

Camilla arrived with two of her grandkids, who also have significant roles in the Coronation. The rehearsals are crucial, especially for Prince George, who will be walking behind his grandad to carry his robes as he enters and exits Westminster Abbey, told the Mirror.

On Tuesday night, a full-blown rehearsal of the Coronation processions took place with hundreds of army personnel marching through central London. The Diamond Jubilee State Coach and Gold State Coach were also marched down the Mall.

However, outside Buckingham Palace, a man was arrested for allegedly threatening to ‘kill the King’ and throwing a shotgun cartridge into the Palace grounds. The Metropolitan Police detained the 59-year-old man, who was reportedly armed with a knife and shotgun cartridges. The incident happened around 7 pm and the grounds went into lockdown.
