Zayn Malik's Debut Solo Single Pillowtalk

The 23-year-old star has released the first song from his debut solo album Mind of Mine

Forget Bump N’ Grind, Zayn Malik is about to become the number one artist for sex jams. The former One Direction star has sent fans wild with Pillowtalk and it’s even more explicit than we ever imagined it would be. Perrie Edwards and Gigi Hadid might be a bit red-faced listening to how honest he is about getting down and dirty.

"F***ing you and fighting on, it’s our paradise and it’s our war zone," sings Zayn, as he repeats: "In your bed all day, bed all day, bed all day."

We’re glad One Direction fans have grown up a bit but some parents might not want their kids listening to Zayn’s songs, which is fine, because he’s about to become cool for the over 20s. Sorry, Biebs.

He also sings: "We’ll p*** off the neighbours in a place that feels your tears, the place you lose your fears."

Zayn also drops the video for the new single tonight and it’s pretty raunchy. He can be seen kissing what appears to be Gigi in arty stills from the promo. But they’re just friends, right?

In a new interview with Sunday Times Culture magazine, Zayn said Pillowtalk is as "so pure, so dirty and raw," insisting he’s not sugarcoating the issue of sex. "I think I’m pretty black and white about what it’s about," he said. "Everybody has sex, and it’s something people want to hear about. It’s part of everybody’s life, a very big part of life! And you don’t want to sweep it under the carpet. It has to be talked about."

Fans have been waiting for what feels like years for his new music after he quit One Direction back in March last year, with one tweeting: "I can’t wait for the moment where we are counting the last seconds until we listen Pillow Talk and we have flashbacks of how much we waited."

Zayn previously slammed One Direction’s music and branded it "generic as f**k", insisting their tunes were not what he’d listen to. He said: "There was never any room for me to experiment creatively in the band. [It was] generic as f**k. That’s not music that I would listen to. Would you listen to One Direction, sat at a party with your girl? I wouldn’t."

We disagree with that statement because their latest album was pretty brilliant, but Zayn’s solo tunes might be more suited for your sexy Spotify playlist. Now we just need the abum.
