On one of the first truly hot nights of the year, Coach and Friends of the High Line provided a lush respite from the concrete jungle below, hosting fashionable Manhattanites for their annual summer party. Susan Sarandon, Chloë Moretz, Amy Astley, Mia Moretti, and Marjorie "DJ Mad Marj" Gubelmann (both of whom took a night off) joined up with bright young things including the Brant brothers, Rachel Chandler Guinness, and Kate Mara to discuss upcoming plans.

Susan Sarandon and Riley Keough"My movie is coming out this summer," said Moretz in a printed summer frock from Christopher Kane punctuated by a Coach fringed bag, "so I’m traveling all over the world, but I’ll be in Paris for couture." Sprinkled in summer-friendly ensembles were Giovanna Battaglia in a vintage Pauline Trigère pajama suit complete with bra top, Bonnie Morrison in a Céline shift with Coach pouch, and Misha Nonoo in a green suede dress from Balenciaga. "I’m going to Mallorca," said Nonoo, "I’ve never been.

De La Soul Performing And I’ll be working hard!" Skipping the beach was Mara in a cheery, yellow top by Sandro with contrasting shorts, Prada sandals, Coach bag, and a Jacquie Aiche ear stud cuff: "I’m shooting The Fantastic Four in Louisiana, so my plan is to work hard but afterwards I just want to go home to Los Angeles. I’m such a homebody." Also focusing on all things close to home was actress Chloë Sevigny in a patterned Coach dress.

Scene on the High Line"I’m moving into a new apartment which involves lots of antiquing and decorating," she said. "That’s my fantasy!" However, Keri Russell, in a vintage men’s sailor shirt and shorts paired with Jimmy Choo stilettos and a Coach crossbody, exclaimed, "Travel, travel, travel! And adult beverages. I’m not working so literally anywhere.

Chlo Moretz and Bonnie MorrisonIt’s such a luxury not working." As guests including Anh Duong, Indre Rockefeller in a Delpozo skirt, and Audrey Gelman took in a surprise performance by De La Soul, everyone embraced the humidity and heat. And where will Coach designer Stuart Vevers be jetting off to? "I have to admit my plans are still quite vague," he said laughing, "but travel is at the top of my list."
