One of the top awards of the night is for Best Play where the following are nominated: “Eclipsed” by Danai Gurira, “The Father” by Florian Zeller, “The Humans” by Stephen Karam and “King Charles III” by Mike Bartlett. In the Best Musical category the following productions scored a nod: “Bright Star," “Hamilton," “School of Rock-The Musical," “Shuffle Along, Or the Making of the Musical Sensation of 1921 and All That Followed” and “Waitress."
