The 78th annual Venice International Film Festival has begun, and glamorous global stars are flocking to the city with their stylists and couture in tow.
With some of the year’s most anticipated films premiering in Venice, including the sci-fi epic Dune and the Princess Diana biopic Spencer, all eyes are on the festival, which has returned to its full size after its “restrained” iteration last year.
So far the looks have ranged from classic to daring, including floor-length gowns, smart dresses from mini to ankle-length, and elegant pantsuits.

The actor chose a custom Christian Dior gown for the premiere of her film Last Night in Soho. She wore a bright pink ankle-length gown with a matching belt and a floor-length sash tied at the waist. She accessorized the monochromatic look with pink pumps and a small pink beret with a black veil.
