You Won’t Believe What Bill Cosby Just Tweeted–People Are FURIOUS!

People have not been pleased with Bill Cosby in a long time – and just when we thought things couldn’t get any worse, the actor made some Tweets that have upset everyone even further.

“I have never changed my stance nor my story. I have always maintained my innocence,” the 83-year-old wrote.

Cosby was released from prison last week, after serving just over two years of a ten-year sentence. He had been convicted of aggravated indecent assault against Andrea Constand, a basketball coach for Temple University, back in 2004.

He had been serving his sentence in a Pennsylvania State Prison. However, the state’s Supreme Court has overturned Cosby’s sentence.

The court overturned Cosby’s conviction on the grounds that the district attorney who had initiated the arrest was obligated to stand by a promise the county’ previous district attorney had made to not charge the actor.

Sixty women have accused Cosby of sexual misconduct or assault, and the actor continues to deny all allegations.

Bill Cosby's petition for parole deniedUpon being released from prison, Cosby wrote on social media, “ I have never changed my stance nor my story. I have always maintained my innocence.

“Thank you to all my fans, supporters and friends who stood by me through this ordeal. Special thanks to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court for upholding the rule of law.”

Yet Cosby’s followers do not believe that he is innocent, as several wrote in the comments. One Twitter user astutely wrote on the post, “Freed on a technicality isn’t innocent.”

Another replied, “You weren’t found innocent, your legal team found a loophole. Don’t get it twisted.”

“You were let out on an inexplicable technicality, not because you were innocent or wrongly incarcerated,” another commenter wrote to Cosby. “The less you say, the better this injustice will probably be for all involved. I am sorry your victims feel invalidated by this, but I believe them and I know you do too.”
