According to Star, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie were previously on the same page with regards to resolving their issues privately. But for some reason, Jolie felt that she didn’t have any other choice.
Angelina Jolie accuses Brad Pitt of domestic violence
The actress recently accused her ex-husband of domestic violence. And she also said that she and her kids could give testimony to support her allegations.
Now, a source told the tabloid that Pitt and Jolie tried to fix their relationship last year. And the fact that she’s bringing out a domestic violence case against the actor suggests that the incident happened recently.
Brad Pitt furious at his ex-wife
Regardless, the Once Upon A Time In Hollywood star is, allegedly, livid at his ex-wife.
“He strongly denies her claims and says she’s using it as a strategy to stop him from seeing the kids,” the source said.
Maddox testifies against his dad
According to reports, Pitt and Jolie’s eldest son, Maddox has already testified against his dad. A source told In Touch Weekly claimed that Maddox couldn’t wait to go back to college after testifying against the actor.
“He actually hates all the divorce and custody back and forth and can’t wait for it to be over. We don’t know the details of what he exactly said about his dad, but the consensus was that it wasn’t flattering. He doesn’t completely hate Brad, but he told the truth in the deposition he gave. He’s happy that his dad got help and is sober now. Maddox is very protective of his mother; he’s a mama’s boy. Not in a spoiled way, but he’s the oldest and understands Angie better than anyone,” the source said.
Prior to Jolie’s recent allegations, the source claimed that there was some progress between Pitt and Maddox. And the Ad Astra star still hopes to reconcile with his eldest child.
As for his other children, the source claimed that Pitt has an amicable relationship with them.
“It’s very challenging, but he’s on good terms with all the other kids. That brings him joy. Brad’s parenting is 100 percent better than it was. He says it’s progress, not perfection,” the source said.
As of late, Brad Pitt has not yet released a statement following Jolie’s allegations.
