We hate to tell you this, HollywoodLifers, but Emma Stone, 26, and Andrew Garfield, 31, have allegedly decided to go their separate ways, according to a new report. While this breaks our hearts, it’s no secret that the couple, who started dating in 2011, had been becoming more and more distant with each other.
Such sad news! The Amazing Spider-Man co-stars had been going strong for three years, but it seems like distance was wearing down their relationship. Like Ross and Rachel before them, they have decided to take a break, a source told Us Weekly.
“They had been fighting a lot and they hadn’t seen each other. They have both been working but they weren’t getting along,” the source also told the magazine.
As HollywoodLife previously told you, the couple had been going through a “rough patch” being thousands of miles apart while Andrew had been busy shooting a film in Taiwan.
The couple reportedly put things on “hold”, but were clearly already going their separate ways and had “drifted apart,” according to Star magazine. While Emma and the British hunk always used to be seen together on the red carpet, he was MIA for Emma’s big nights at the 2015 Oscars and Golden Globes, where Emma received huge nominations.
While it’s sad they split, it seems like both Andrew and Emma will be happier going their separate ways. Ultimately, we must respect their decision to split, even if it does strike a chord in our hearts!
