Gwen Stefani softens Blake Shelton a bit

Blake Shelton doesn’t want to remember the man he was before Gwen Stefani, Country Now reported.

Shelton and Stefani have always been a happy pair since they began going out. Both were fresh from divorce when they started to build their friendship in The Voice, which shortly turned into a romance.

Even if there are a lot of rumors between the two, their love for each other prevails. Shelton credited Stefani for their smooth relationship while admitting that he was a “jerk to everybody” before he and Stefani started dating.

“I don’t want to remember what I was like before Gwen, actually,” Shelton told Entertainment Tonight.

“I’m a little bit of jerk to you still,” he said while speaking to fellow The Voice coach Kelly Clarkson.

“But I was a jerk to everybody… Look how nice I am now!”

John Legend commented on the couple and praised their energy. According to him, Stefani “kind of softens Blake a little bit.”

Blake saved Gwen

While Blake Shelton praised his girlfriend for changing him, the latter gushed over him for saving her.

“Blake saved my life, everybody knows that,” Stefani told ET.

“Like, we’re just having the time of our lives, and we never expected that this late in our lives, so we’re just trying to savor every moment together, and just to be back on The Voice as well — not to change the subject — but working together again has been really fun, and I love being here and I love being with him.”

Gwen and Blake during the quarantine

Blake Shelton and Gwent Stefani spent the quarantine together with her three boys. The God Gave Me You singer has also grown close to Stefani’s sons.

Just recently, Kingston said he doesn’t listen to country music, the genre Shelton is very popular. The teenager added that country is “disgusting,” and he “hates” it.

However, the statement didn’t offend Shelton at all, according to an insider. Instead, he found it funny.

“Kingston is a great kid and Blake loves him but he wants Kingston to be his own person and eventually his own man. He is proud of him and loves that he has a relationship with his dad and that they also get along,” the source said.
