Melania Trump’s ex-pal says Donald ‘would choose daughter Ivanka over his wife’

Melania Trump’s former adviser has revealed that should former President Donald be faced with the decision, he would put his daughter Ivanka before his third wife.

Melania’ Trump’s once close confidante has shared an insight into the relationship between The Apprentice star Donald Trump and his left-hand woman, daughter Ivanka.

Stephanie Winston Wolkoff has said that Ivanka, 39, is “Donald in a suit” after she played a huge part in his Presidency, often appearing at her father’s side.

During Donald’s time as President, Ivanka served as his adviser on job creation, economic empowerment, workforce development and entrepreneurship according to her Instagram page.

Wolkoff, who served alongside Melania in the East Wing of the White House says that Ivanka “would usurp” the First Lady.

It’s been reported by She Knows that Stephanie decided to write her tell-all-book Melania and Me in order to reveal the truth of what happens behind closed doors.

“It was to highlight the way that Ivanka would usurp Melania and all the traditions of the White House and didn’t care about any rules and didn’t care about anyone else,” she said.

She continued: “And that to me was just as important, getting that out to the world, to the country, to know who Ivanka was, more than even Melania.”

The former New York Fashion Week director added: “She’s Donald in a suit, she’s Donald one ace in the hole.

“And if Donald had to choose between anyone, it would be Ivanka.”

Stephanie went on to address the criticism she faced after taking a long time to “realise Melania wasn’t her friend”.

“Many people have criticised me for taking way too long to realise that Melania wasn’t really my friend.

“I think I held on to the friendship because I wanted to believe that she would come out and say something, anything in my defence, they do not do that,” she recalled.

Despite once being friends, Melania, 50, has since slammed claims made against her by Wolkoff.

The ex-First Lady said: “We all know that more often than not, information that could be helpful to children is lost in the noise made by self-serving adults.

“I have most recently found this to be the case as major news outlets eagerly covered salacious claims made by a former contractor who advised my office.

“A person who said she ‘made me’ even though she hardly knew me, and someone who clung to me after my husband won the Presidency.”

Melania and Stephanie met in 2003, while she was working at glossy magazine Vogue, before becoming friends with Mrs Trump, later stating that Melania was “the sister I never had before”.

She was taken on as an unpaid senior adviser to Melania in early 2017, shortly after the Trump administration moved into the White House, but cut ties in February 2018.
