The couple initially purchased the home five months ago and have been taking their time moving into the space with their young daughter, Daisy. Realtor.com reported that the property went on the market in late 2019 starting at $20 million, so Perry and Bloom seem to have gotten a great deal by waiting to snag it.
Montecito is a known hotspot for celebs looking to settle down outside of Los Angeles, with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle recently moving into the area to begin their lives in California following their leave from royal life. Other famous neighbors include Ellen DeGeneres and Ariana Grande.
According to Observer, the home is a six-bedroom, twelve-bathroom estate so it’s safe to say there’s plenty of room for the couple to accommodate their growing family. A source close to Bloom shared with People back in October, “Katy grew up in Santa Barbara and always loved it there. Orlando has come to love it as well. He always enjoyed Malibu, but finds Montecito even better since it’s much more private.” Sounds idyllic to me!
Bloom and Perry have been engaged since Valentine’s Day of 2019 after falling into an on-and-off again relationship back in 2016. They welcomed their first child, Daisy Dove together back in August 2020 and Bloom shares another child, Flynn, with his ex wife Miranda Kerr.
