Melania Trump outrage: Expert says ex-FLOTUS’ pushback on divorce speculations is due to a ‘new sense of freedom’

There have been a lot of speculations surrounding the marriage of former first lady Melania Trump and Donald Trump. Following the recent pushback by Melania’s post-White House office on the speculated activities of the former first lady, a relationship expert claims that this reaction comes from having more freedom now that Melania is out of the White House.

Speaking to UK news outlet Daily Star, relationship expert Carole Anne Rice claimed that Mrs. Trump’s response towards a CNN report of her speculated activities post-White House may be due to a “new sense of freedom.” Melania’s post-White House office tweeted a response to reports of the former first lady supposedly being “bitter and chilly” towards the now-former president and spending most of her time at a spa. The former first lady’s office blasted the CNN FLOTUS correspondent and the media’s “unhealthy obsession” with Melania’s marriage and activities.

“Now that Melania isn’t the First Lady, she probably has a new sense of freedom now that she can speak out where she perhaps felt she couldn’t before out of decency and integrity to protect her man who is in the White House,” said Rice. “So she is probably thinking ‘It is finally time for me to speak up,’ and maybe…she’s thinking ‘enough is enough now’ and I would put my foot down.”

Rice went on to add that Melania’s response may also serve as a warning where she may decide to pursue legal action should it escalate even further. The expert noted that only Melania and her husband know their current situation as a couple and while she has publicly expressed dislike at times, those scenarios are of a personal nature.

Recently, a pastor from Missouri faced backlash after preaching a controversial sermon that told the women in the congregation to pay more attention to their looks to maintain the attention of their husbands. Pastor Stewart-Allen Clark cited that women should aspire to look like the former first lady, telling the women to watch their weight and prioritize looking beautiful so their husbands do not stray. A video of Clark’s sermon went viral on social media, with many netizens criticizing both Clark and Mrs. Trump.
