Prince William and Kate Middleton have inherited a home in rural Wales after receiving new titles following the death of Queen Elizabeth II last month.

The couple, who has been named the new Prince and Princess of Wales and Duke and Duchess of Cornwall, now owns a so-called “secret” tranquil farmhouse on Llwynywermod Estate on the outskirts of Myddfai, Wales, where King Charles III and Camilla, Queen Consort used to spend a lot of their time together, Wales Online reported.

After the death of the longest-reigning British monarch on Sept. 8, Prince William, 40, inherited several titles from his father, including the Prince of Wales, Duke of Cornwall, Earl of Chester, and Duke Rothesay.

As the Duke of Cornwall, Prince William owns the Duchy of Cornwall, a private estate established in 1337 by Edward III to “provide independence to his son and heir,” Prince Edward.

However, the royal couple did spend three years living in Anglesey in North Wales when the prince was assigned to the area as a search and rescue helicopter pilot for the Royal Air Force (RAF) from 2010 to 2013.

Within this period, Prince William and Middleton got engaged in 2010, tied the knot in 2011, and welcomed their first child Prince George in 2013.

Prince William and Middleton have a fondness for Wales and have promised to visit the country regularly, including a trip to Cardiff before the Christmas season.

The couple, who spent time in Anglesey and Swansea last week, is said to be eager to “use the platform they have to take the dynamic nation of Wales to the global stage,” according to the outlet.

Recently, Prince William and Middleton moved to Adelaide Cottage on the Windsor Estate in England, where they now live with their three children, 9-year-old Prince George, 7-year-old Princess Charlotte and 4-year-old Prince Louis. The kids started at their new school, Lambrook, at the beginning of the school year.
