In their interview with Oprah Winfrey, the Duke of Sussex said the royals cut them off financially after they stepped down from their royal duties. Last year, one tabloid claimed Prince Harry and Markle were having a baby amid their financial and marital problems.

According to Life & Style, the couple was fighting over their financial struggles. It also pointed out that they were “not as wealthy as people think.” Furthermore, there was reportedly no sign that they had new funds coming.

The outlet noted that Prince Harry and Markle’s a mortgage and property tax were to blame for their financial struggles. Gossip Cop examined the report and debunked it. According to the rumor-debunking site, the claim that the royal couple is drowning in financial troubles was entirely false.

Again, they just signed a multi-year, multi-million deal with Netflix and Spotify at the time. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s deal with Netflix was estimated to be worth $100 million. They agreed to produce documentaries, series, features films, scripted shows, and children’s programming.

The outlet noted that if there was something right in the report, it was probably the part where it claimed the duchess was pregnant. Prince Harry and Markle welcomed their second baby, Lilibet Diana Mountbatten-Windsor on June 4.  So, in September 2020, she was already expecting a baby.

However, the rumor-debunking site doubted if the pregnancy report was spot on. According to Gossip Cop, Life & Style always publishes one pregnancy rumor after another with no regard for consistency or accuracy.

But while the pregnancy news was correct, the tabloid created a completely bogus story out of it. It’s been a year since the story was published and Prince Harry and Markle are still together and doing well despite the alleged marital and financial troubles.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have always been subjected to various rumors. for instance, another outlet, National Enquirer claimed they were snubbed in Hollywood. The report came after they were not spotted at Barack Obama’s 60th birthday. Most of the reports about the Sussexes are false. So, one should take them with a grain of salt.
