Another royal baby! Princess Beatrice welcomes her first child

Princess Beatrice has become a mother to a beautiful baby girl, just one year after she tied the knot to her beau, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

The royal is no stranger to motherhood as she has been spending plenty of time with her stepson, four-year-old Wolfie.

The news of the latest royal baby’s arrival was confirmed by Buckingham Palace.

‘Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are delighted to announce the safe arrival of their daughter on Saturday 18th September 2021, at 23.42, at the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, London,’ the statement read.

The baby weighs 6 pounds and 2 ounces. The new baby’s grandparents and great-grandparents have all been informed and are delighted with the news.’

‘The family would like to thank all the staff at the hospital for their wonderful care. Her Royal Highness and her child are both doing well, and the couple is looking forward to introducing their daughter to her big brother Christopher Woolf,’ they concluded.

Beatrice and her husband shared the news that they were expecting their first child together in May of this year.

The caption of the post read, ‘Her Royal Highness Princess Beatrice and Mr Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in autumn of this year.’

‘The Queen has been informed and both families are delighted with the news,’ the statement concluded.

The royal couple tied the knot in a secret summer wedding last July with Beatrice wearing her grandmother’s dress.
